Billy came to Omni Visions in July of 2005. Billy has been deaf since birth and since entering foster care had never been with a signing family until coming to Omni North Carolina. Since being in the Miller's home, Billy has made much progress. They are his biggest advocates! Now he has a signing therapist and most of his team knows some sign language. Billy has found new interests, one being Tae Kwon Do. He has moved up the ladder accomplishing belts and placing in competitions. The last one he was in was in Virginia. He won first in his group. Billy also loves skateboarding and has participated in some sports at school. The Miller's have provided structure and consistency for Billy and he can communicate with them. Congratulations to James, Mary and Billy.
