Who can become an adoptive family?

The answer is YOU!

Requirements are minimal:

• Married, single, or divorced
• May or may not have other children
• Own your home or rent
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 in Kentucky)
• Must reside in the state you are adopting from and be a U.S. citizen (or legal resident in Kentucky)
• Must be able to meet the financial and emotional needs of your own family
• May work full time
